Introducing CSIT
The Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT) is an agency in the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) that focuses on R&D and solutions development in information and communications technologies to fulfil the strategic needs of Singapore.
Formed on 1 Feb 2003, CSIT has deep in-house technological expertise spanning a good spectrum of disciplines within the infocomm field to address a wide range of technological problems.
In its efforts to develop robust solutions for the country’s strategic needs, CSIT leverages on commercial expertise and works closely with local research institutions, defence R&D and support organisations.
Technology Centre
Technology Centre’s mission is to advance infocomm technology research, pioneer technological breakthroughs, and deliver cutting-edge capabilities to fulfil the strategic needs of Singapore.
Technology Centre’s R&D activities encompass areas in cryptography, cyber security, advanced communications, signal research, and media & information processing.
Its a once in a lifetime chance to be in there. The job is to seek out individuals who are passionate in IT Security and very Linux-based.
Arghzzzzz But i am to start work on nxt week ~!!!!! Though i like being an system analyst, but the chance to be in one of the top-notch agencies in Singapore dealing with Security is tempting and very challengencing .... Very very intriguting .... i actually wanted to do software security in curtin ( but due to fees, hve to change my plan ) and now i am offered a chance but yet ............ i hve to tink of a way ... And FAST
